Privacy Policy
Last updated July 26, 2026
Pelican Realty & Co. ("Pelican," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described here.
Pelican Realty & Co. is a licensed Florida real estate brokerage (Licensed Real Estate Corporation CQ1073253; Broker BK3441228), located at 8285 N. Palafox St, Ste D, Pensacola, FL 32534.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- How you reached us: how you signed up (Google sign-in or email), the form or page you came through, and your referral source. When you consent to be contacted, we record the date and the exact consent language you agreed to.
- Dates and household details you choose to share: your birthday and home-purchase anniversary, and, if you provide it, a spouse or partner you ask us to associate with your household. We do not collect information about children.
- Property and transaction details: home address(es); home characteristics such as bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, year built, condition, and features; prior sale information; occupancy type; and transaction details when you buy or sell with us.
- Home Vault information (optional): if you or your agent use the Home Vault, it may hold details about your home (such as appliance information, system locations, paint colors, and service-provider contacts), a record of home improvements and their costs, and photos and documents you choose to upload (such as warranties, receipts, and manuals).
Information collected automatically:
Properties and searches you save. If you accept non-essential cookies, we also record properties you view and searches you run so your agent can serve you better. We keep records of the emails we send you.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to connect you with your Pelican agent and provide real estate services; to send property alerts and market information you've requested; to prepare home value estimates and market updates; to send communications you've consented to (such as newsletters, milestone messages, and our first-time-buyer education series), which you can opt out of at any time; to operate the Home Vault and send maintenance reminders you or your agent set up; and to improve our services and meet our recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations.
3. Automated & AI-Assisted Content
We use third-party artificial-intelligence services to help generate certain communications and content. For example, when an agent drafts a message to you, some of your CRM information (such as your name, where you are in the buying or selling process, and agent notes) may be processed by an AI service to help draft that message; and home value estimate narratives and some newsletter content are generated with AI assistance using your home's details and market data. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to train public AI models.
4. Location & Mapping
To provide neighborhood market activity, "sold near you" summaries, and to determine the correct county for property-tax purposes, we convert addresses (such as your home and mailing addresses) into map coordinates using a third-party mapping service (Google), and we store the resulting location data. Map features on our site also load from Google. Your use of these map features is subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.
6. Households & Linked Spouses or Partners
At your household's request, your agent can link you with a spouse or partner so you're served as one household. When two people are linked, they may receive combined communications, and each may view and manage shared household information, including shared home details and the contents of the Home Vault, such as improvement records and uploaded documents. We link a household only after confirming that both parties have given permission to share this information, and we notify each linked person by email when the link is made. Either person may ask us to unlink the household at any time.
7. The Home Vault
The Home Vault stores the home information, photos, and documents you or your agent add. Access is limited to the homeowner, a linked spouse or partner, the assigned agent, and administrators. Files are kept in private storage and are made available only through temporary, expiring links. The Home Vault is intended for home-management information; it is not intended for deeds, government identification, or other sensitive legal documents, and we ask that you not store those there. Please keep your own copies of important documents.
9. How Long We Keep Your Information, and Your Deletion Rights
We keep your information for as long as you have a relationship with us and as needed for the purposes described in this policy, our recordkeeping, and legal compliance. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time (see Section 10); unsubscribing stops those messages but does not by itself delete your information. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details below, and we will respond as required by applicable law. Some information may be retained where we are required or permitted to keep it (for example, records related to a completed real estate transaction).
10. Your Choices
- Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link to a preferences page where you can turn off specific types of messages (such as newsletters, our education series, and milestone messages) as well as property alerts, value updates, and maintenance reminders.
- Calls and texts: you may ask us at any time to stop calling or texting you, and we will record and honor that request. You can make this request by replying to any message or contacting us using the details below.
- Access, correction, and deletion: contact us using the details below.
Messages that are transactional or account-related, such as alerts you've set up, appointment or deadline reminders, and account notices, are not marketing and may continue even if you opt out of marketing.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults (18 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not store information about our clients' children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
